We work with local guides and tour operators across Southern and East Africa. Every operator on AFRICONNECT is individually verified before their listing goes live — we don't aggregate, scrape, or resell other platforms' inventory. If it's on our site, we've spoken to the person who runs it.

Zambia

Zambia is where AFRICONNECT is deepest. Our operators here cover the full range — canoe safaris drifting past hippo pods on the Lower Zambezi, walking safaris in South Luangwa where the practice was invented, and the adventure activities clustered around Victoria Falls in Livingstone.

Best time to visit: May to October is peak season, with the best game viewing and reliable weather. Many Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa camps close from November through March during the green season, so plan ahead if you're travelling later in the year.
