Kwamongo Expedition Eco Tours & Safaris is a locally based tourism company in Lushoto, in the Usambara Mountains of Tanzania, offering authentic, nature-based and responsible travel experiences led by experienced local guides. We specialize in hiking and trekking, biodiversity and wildlife experiences, herpetology, chameleon spotting, birdwatching, flower and botanical tours, local medicinal plant experiences, waterfalls, scenic viewpoints, coffee farm visits, cultural experiences and community-based tourism. Our experiences are designed to connect travelers with the unique biodiversity, landscapes, culture and local communities of the Usambara Mountains. We also promote environmental conservation and sustainable tourism by creating awareness about the importance of protecting forests, wildlife, traditional knowledge and natural resources for future generations. Each tour includes a local language learning experience, where guests can learn basic words, greetings, expressions and useful local phrases while interacting with local communities during their tour.
